Summary:
Repairs and maintains machinery and process equipment. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and controls. The work requires training and knowledge of multiple crafts such as mechanical, electrical, millwright, welding and/or pipe fitting. The candidate should also have knowledge of hand tools and power tools to perform such tasks. Also candidate should have HVAC knowledge and experience.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
